We are delighted that Mark Cock of the Type 21 Association has started a GoFundMe appeal to support the campaign to bring HMS Ambuscade (F172) home to the United Kingdom.
But time is running out.
HMS Ambuscade is the last surviving Type 21 frigate that served in the 1982 Falklands Conflict and represents something much greater than steel, machinery and naval engineering.
She represents the men who served aboard the Type 21s, the ships that did not return, and an extraordinary chapter in British naval history.
